Completely equip your remote workers…for less than the cost of a cup of coffee
November 24, 2022

Almost three years ago, the world changed practically overnight and working from home become the norm for billions of people across the world. At the time, IT departments scrambled to get equipment out to their colleagues and make essential systems accessible remotely – it was truly a remarkable effort.

Fast forward to today, as we prepare to leave 2022, and agile or remote working has proven to work to such an extent that most staff work a combination of home and office-based days, agile working is very much the norm. This applies across the board, with both long-standing existing staff and new starters all expected to be completely agile in the way they work.

Thankfully we probably don’t have to worry about kitting out employees on mass, at very short notice, with new laptops, monitors, printers, peripherals and more today, but we do have to mindful that equipment that was deployed in early 2020 (or before) could well be nearing the end of its contracted or useful life. In addition, there will always be the constant challenge of onboarding new colleagues – many of whom may not be expected to be in the office at all.

Quadris have been supporting organisations with their agile working since way before the first lockdown, allowing our customers to outsource the complexities of delivering and supporting the equipment needed to work away from the office. It’s a business case that has proven to work for our existing customers as they simply don’t need to worry about ordering equipment, keeping stock, dealing with couriers (both ways), manning support desks, configuring and setting up machines and, of course, repairing broken and faulty devices.

You may have come across our Managed Digital Workspace service before. Perhaps you took the opportunity to dial into our recent webinar with our good friends at ForHousing and Golden Lane Housing? But did you know that our customers typically pay the equivalent of less than a cup of coffee per employee per day? That’s for a brand-new laptop (to their specification), delivered (with all the peripherals they need), to the employees’ home address, fully supported with a frontline helpdesk and covered against faults and breakages!  What’s more, for new starters, we typically get their equipment out the next working day from a request coming in. In some situations, we even achieve same-day delivery!

So, if we could take the pain of managing your agile worker’s equipment away, at a price point that helps your budget, while at the same time freeing up hundreds of hours of time from your central IT team then it must be worth a conversation, right?
